ACU is affiliated with the fellowship of the Church of Christ. This position requires the employee to be a professing Christian and to be willing to support the Christian mission of ACU.<br>* <br><br>Reports to the Program Director for Online MS-SLP. The position is part of the faculty team working together to support online students pursuing a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology. <br><br><b>Location:</b> Remote<br><br><b>The key principles of this job are to:</b><ul><li>Support ACU's Mission: Educate students for Christian service and leadership throughout the world.</li><li>Support CSD Department Mission and Student Promise: The mission of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills for effective ministry to persons with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders from a Christ-centered perspective. We promise our students that we will provide the best possible student experience in communication sciences and disorders.</li></ul><b>Basic Responsibilities: </b><br><br>A. Provide high-quality instruction, direction, and support for students in the online classroom environment in <br><br>the candidate's area of expertise.<br><br>1. Provide rich and timely feedback on student work, being both encouraging and constructively critical.<br><br>2. Facilitate a range of class sizes, up to 30 students.<br><br>3. Monitor student progress and report on student progress in the mastery of student learning <br><br>outcomes and ASHA skills and standards. <br><br>4. Provide timely and helpful answers to students' inquiries regarding course material or academic matters. <br><br>5. Be available for virtual meetings with students one-on-one or in group settings and hold a minimum of two office hours per week. <br><br>6.
