Agribusinesses often have the problem that they cannot grow fast enough due to tied-up capital. They don't get money from their banks because they fall outside their usual grid. Despite great potential, these companies can only grow organically and thus significantly slower than would be possible. Asymmetrica Investments solves this problem by providing financing. Today we are the first provider of an investment fund in avocado orchards (sustainable-avo.com).

If you are passionate about deal-making, sustainable finance and you are looking to have an impact, then we are looking for you to become part of our team as a Private Equity Intern.

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Conducting extensive market and sector-specific research.
  • Sourcing & assessing potential investment opportunities
  • Financial modeling, valuation analysis, and returns analysis for potential investment targets
  • Assistance in due diligence workstreams
  • Developing investment memorandum and materials to presenting directly to investment committee
  • Supporting fundraising and investor reporting

  • High degree of personal discretion
  • Unimpeachable integrity
  • Genuine interest in fundraising, deal-making, and sustainable finance
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Fluency in German and Spanish are good but not essential
  • Bachelor's degree with a strong GPA from a top university (finance, economics, statistics) good but not essential
  • CFA candidate good but not essential

You will be able to grow within a leading and disrupting fintech company with an established brand in Zug, Switzerland.

Your title will be Private Equity Intern and you will report directly to the Finance Team of the company for a period of 6 months. After the internship, depending on a joint evaluation, a permanent position as Private Equity Junior Associate is possible, but not guaranteed.
