Join us and support CSAA IG in achieving our goals.</p><h2>Key Responsibilities</h2><ul><li>Perform research, modeling, forecasting and coordination of data collection from Claims and other groups.</li><li>Review and interpret current reporting, identifying trends to improve operational efficiency, product performance.</li><li>Lead complex analyses to understand the root causes of underlying trends and effectively communicate findings to senior management.</li><li>Understand and deliver insights by monitoring internal claims loss data and incorporating industry trends.</li><li>Support accountability and ownership in the claims process by providing an accurate and unbiased picture of claims operations.</li><li>Leverage industry data and knowledge to evaluate results in relation to industry benchmarks.</li><li>Work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in Claims, Product, Actuarial, Finance and Technology to identify new trends and initiatives.</li><li>Provide guidance and mentorship to junior analysts.</li></ul><h2>Required Experience, Education and Skills</h2><ul><li>5+ years of directly related experience</li><li>Excellent research, statistical, analytical, processing and mathematical skills with ability to structure and conduct analyses</li><li>Strong proficiency in SAS, SQL, Python, Snowflake, Visual Basic, Power BI and various structured analysis and design techniques</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as we work with these tools daily</li><li>Bachelor\'s degree in mathematics, business, statistics, economics, computer science or equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>Adaptability and the capability of multi-tasking and strong time management</li><li>Ability to make effective formal presentations</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment</li><li>Solid communication and presentation skills (written, verbal, and listening)</li></ul><h2>What would make us excited about you?</h2><ul><li>Knowledge of insurance and rate-making concepts</li><li>Pursuit or completion of industry-relevant continuing education, including graduate degrees, MBS, risk and insurance designations from The Institutes (AINS, AIC, ARM, CPCU, etc.), and actuarial exams and designations (ACAS, FCAS, CERA).</li><li>Advanced degree in related field</li><li>Demonstrated analytical agility and curiosity.
